Select a Club to join
Choice which club is to be your home base, this will be the Club you
pay your membership fee's too, receive info about opening or closing
changes and will be the one you have to attend to collect your membership
card (the automatic system is set to issue your card and any replacement
card only from your home club) and complete your induction session.
Once you have attended an Induction session and received your mebership
smart card, you will then be able to use any FitSpace club as often
as you like.

Select membership type
Look at the choice of memberships and decide which one suits you best.

Fill in pre-exercise questionnaire
You will be asked to answer 'yes' or 'no' to 10 questions about your
health. If you answer 'yes' to any of the questions you will be asked
to seek medical advice from your own GP and be unable to join at this
time.
- Has a doctor / medical professional ever diagnosed you with a
heart condition and indicated you should restrict your physical activity?
- When you perform physical activity, do you feel pain in your chest?
- When you were not engaging in physical activity, have you experienced
chest pain in the past month?
- Do you ever faint or get dizzy and lose your balance?
- Do you have an injury or orthopaedic condition (such as a back,
hip, or knee problem) that may worsen due to a change in your physical
activity?
- Do you have high blood pressure or a heart condition in which a
doctor / medical professional is currently prescribing a medication?
- Are you pregnant?
- Do you have insulin dependent diabetes?
- Are you 69 years of age or older and not used to being very active?
- Do you know of any other reason you should not exercise or increase
your physical activity?

Enter your personal details
Enter your name, date of birth, address, postcode and contact details.

Check your details
Make a payment for your administration fee and first month's membership
by either Credit Card or Debit Card - have an administration fee of
£29 plus whatever your first months membership is at your home
club.
On the Annual membership you will be asked to re-enter your Credit
or Debit Card (as before) and make payment for the full amount.
On the Monthly memberships you will asked to complete an online Direct
Debit mandate which will commence being collected in one month's time.

Book your induction course
You will now be taken to a page to book your first visit induction
session - this has to be completed at your home club. A number of sessions
are available every day, and can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.
Each 'induction' session will be conducted in a small group (3-6 new
members) with a Reps Level 3 qualified personal trainer. The session
only takes 40 minutes, introducing you to the equipment and how it
works and advising you of how you can gain extra help or programming
for maximum improvement while using the gym.

Collect your PIN number
You will now be sent an email confirming all your details, confirming
payment and providing you with a 'PIN' number. This PIN number will
also be shown on screen at this stage. When at your home club you will
enter your PIN number on the touch screen kiosk, follow the simple
instructions on screen, and you will be issued with your membership
proximity card. You can only receive your membership card at your home
club.
